Product description:

The TC Turbos TC870XT is based on an original DAZA / DNWA 2.5 TFSI Borg Warner turbocharger. It can be exchanged directly for the original turbocharger. The TC870XT is a further development of the predecessor TC800XT, which uses the same robust bearing. A newly developed exhaust turbine wheel not only improves response by more than 300 rpm compared to the 800XT, but also increases peak performance by another 40 hp.

In order to achieve the additional power, the turbocharger is revised on the fresh air and exhaust side. Its compressor housing is milled out accordingly in order to be able to use the new 11-blade compressor. The exhaust manifold is also machined in order to be able to drive the corresponding exhaust gas turbine profile. The enlargement of the compressor wheel allows more air volume and can therefore allow more filling (boost pressure / power) over the stock turbo. This is only possible in combination with the exhaust turbine wheel, which is also enlarged. The heart of the TC870XT is its rock solid bearing section. It can handle high loads and even overspinning over time. Compared to the stock unit and compared to corresponding competitors solutions, this was designed to be significantly larger in order to prevent damage caused by overspinning of the turbocharger and to meet the toughest demands. Due to its extremely robust bearing, it can also be used on circuits and racetracks under continuous load without any problems. The balancing work is carried out on high-precision machines from Schenk Germany. Both the individual components and the entire center section are finely balanced.

The response of the TC870XT is similar to a standard turbocharger. There is only a difference of 300 rpm in response between the TC870XT and a standard turbocharger. Throttle response is stock level, although peak power can be up to 450 hp over stock. The TC870XT thus plays in a performance class of many fullframe turbo kits, but is clearly superior in terms of response, durability and suitability for everyday use.

  • 93 ron (US) / 98 octane (EU) = 600 hp
    Front intercooler (HP Sport Series), turbo inlet (min. 3"), intake system (min. 3,5"), downpipe (3,5").

  • 95 ron (US) / 100 octane (EU) = 680 hp
    Front intercooler (HP Sport series), turbo inlet (min. 3,5”), intake system (min. 4”), downpipe (3,5”), engine reinforcement (Engine Pack 2), 1000ccm injectors, mechanical blow-off valve (HP blow-off pipe) , NGK R7 series spark plugs.

  • 98 ron (US) / 102 octane (EU) = 750 hp
    Front intercooler (HP Sport series), turbo inlet (min. 5”), intake system (min. 5”), downpipe (3,5”), engine reinforcement (Engine Pack 2), 1000cc injectors, mechanical blow-off valve (HP blow-off pipe) , NGK R7 series spark plugs, exhaust system from the catalytic converter, boost pressure pipe on the passenger side, pressure sensors 4 bar

  • E85 / XE85 = 870 hp
    Front intercooler (HP Race Series), turbo inlet (min. 4”), intake system (min. 5”), downpipe (5”), engine reinforcement (Ethanol Engine Pack), 1000ccm injectors, mechanical blow-off valve (HP blow-off pipe) , NGK R7 series spark plugs, exhaust system from the catalytic converter (min. 5”), boost pressure pipe on the passenger side, pressure sensors 4 bar, intake manifold, throttle valve arch and boost pressure pipe (HP 3,14” boost pipe kit), torque arm, clutch kit (HP 1100NM), low-pressure fuel pump (HP Twin-Power).
