The 3.14" / 80mm boost pipe kit is the ideal addition to our Race Series intercooler, which has the same 3.14" / 80mm diameter on its outlet side. The large volume downstream of the cooler not only reduces its back pressure, but also measurably improves the air flow. The original divert-air valve is also a weak point at continuous boost pressures above 2 bar / 30 PSI, whereas the mechanical Turbosmart Blowoff can withstand all pressures. The kit is therefore already recommended if an upgraded turbocharger such as the TC870XT is installed.
