We were the first manufacturer in the world to overcome one of the model series' biggest weaknesses and create a unique product for this platform. The RS4 and RS5 2.9 Biturbo model range has a water-to-air supercharger system as standard. This is very efficient for a certain power range, but as soon as the power is increased, the system becomes unbalanced and the water acts as a heat accumulator. The higher the power and thus the boost pressure / air volume increases and the longer the vehicle is driven on the highway or generally under full load, the worse the cooling performance becomes. The intake air temperature rises, the vehicle becomes greasy and performance drops rapidly.
We have the solution. Our large air/air intercooler completely replaces the standard water/intercooler system. This is completely removed and replaced by the HPerformance charge air system. By switching to air-to-air cooling, the back pressure in the charge air system is massively reduced and the efficiency in the form of the charge air temperature remains at an average of 10-15 degrees above the outside temperature, even under continuous load. Thanks to this enormous cooling capacity, all expansion stages, even the standard vehicles, benefit from our cooling system, which is the key to permanently reproducible performance on these vehicles.

With this solution, the engine software must also be programmed and the water pump of the water charge air system must be reprogrammed.
