The HPerformance SPORT SERIES intercooler and intake system set is an outstanding upgrade for the RS3/TTRS/RSQ3 DAZ DNW CZG and is the perfect solution for performance-oriented drivers. This set combines two essential components for optimized performance: the HPerformance Sport Series intercooler and the open HPerformance 5" 125mm intake system incl. 4" turbo inlet.
HPerformance Sport series intercooler
The charge air cooler offers a 125% larger charge air volume and an 81% larger inflow surface compared to the standard charge air cooler. Its state-of-the-art "bar and plate" network ensures efficient cooling performance even at power levels up to 1000 hp.
Our tests have shown that the standard intercooler heats up by an average of 20°C during a test run and leads to a loss of power on the second run. With the HPerformance intercooler, on the other hand, performance is kept constant, even after several dyno pulls. The temperature remains stable below the starting temperature. This not only leads to an increase in efficiency, but also prevents the injection mixture from becoming greasy and unnecessary fuel consumption.
Even on a standard vehicle, up to 25 hp and 60 NM of additional power can be achieved by using the HPerformance intercooler. The set can be easily installed in both standard vehicles and in models with significantly increased performance.
Its total weight including baffle plate is just 16.9 kg. It can also be combined with the HPerformance 80mm / 3.14 inch charge pipe and throttle body. Our optional Air Guide System can further optimize efficiency. Installation is carried out without cutting, only plastic covers and foam pads need to be removed.
HPerformance 5" 125mm intake system
The open HPerformance 5" 125mm intake system is one of the largest on the market and was developed for vehicles for performance optimization on standard vehicles as well as already performance-enhanced vehicles. It includes our 100mm 4" oversize turbo inlet, which is adapted to the intake manifold with a silicone reducer.
Thanks to the use of aluminum, the system is not only lightweight, but also particularly heat-resistant. Unlike carbon systems, it does not pose any risks such as melting, fading/discoloration or deformation. In addition, aluminum is characterized by its excellent heat exchange function, which means that the intake manifold cools down extremely quickly after the engine is switched off.
Thanks to an ingenious bracket, any unwanted contact in the engine compartment is avoided, ensuring perfect functioning. The system measurably increases performance compared to the standard intake.
