The fresh air kit consists of the 4" open intake & the HP Sport Series intercooler. Optionally you can add a matching air deflector (+ optional rubber mounts) & a 3.5" turbo inlet.

Product description:
Our HPerformance intercooler sport series is based on a Gerrett 900 "bar and plate" net, which we consistently rate at 700hp for drag racing and 700hp for track use. In an extensive series of tests, we tested various "tube-and-fin" and "bar-and-plate" networks on a 700 hp RS3 8P. The main focus was on the reproducibility of performance. This means that the vehicle can withstand thermal loads over a longer period of time. Our performance intercooler makes it possible to generate a maximum temperature delta of 9-10°C over several accelerations on the dynamometer. This means that the temperature at the end of the test run is no more than 9-10°C above the input temperature for a vehicle with 800 hp. The intercooler is already recommended for standard performance, as the original intercoolers quickly reach their limits here (anything above 50°C) and temperature-related protective functions come into play. Our intercooler has a parts certificate and is therefore legally registrable (also in combination with other HPerformance hardware).
