Product description:
Water-methanol injections (also alcohol) are used on the one hand to support charge air cooling and on the other to improve fuel quality. The systems inject the mixture through a nozzle depending on the boost pressure (programmable). This is installed in the boost pressure system before or after the charge air cooler. The methanol/alcohol that is injected through it also improves knock resistance enormously. Fuels with a low octane rating can thus be brought to a significantly better knock resistance. This reduces the load on the engine in two ways (thermals and knock resistance). The system can also be used to reduce the load on the fuel system of the 2.5 TFSI steel engines. The HPerformance water-methanol tank has a capacity of around 11 liters. It is installed and fixed in the trunk of all vehicles (out of sight) under the trunk floor. Thanks to its 9 chambers, the sponges and the inverted intake manifold, a constant supply is guaranteed even under heavy acceleration or when cornering.
