Product description:
The HPerformance 4 inch 101.6mm downpipe comes directly from the development of our 1/4 mile vehicle into series production. It is the first downpipe in the world to be built in this pipe diameter throughout. It starts at the turbo outlet and replaces the standard pre-catalytic converter.
The downpipe is an exchange for the standard downpipe. On average, the exhaust back pressure of the 4-inch OPF downpipe is another 119 millibars (mbar) below the level of a 3.5-inch variant. The exhaust gas temperature under continuous load with the 4-inch version is on average 15 °C below the 3.5-inch version.
Any modification to catalytic converters (replacement, change of cells or size - different from original condition) requires a software adjustment of the engine control unit or the use of our OPF / Lambda Simulator (not included). This prevents errors from occurring.
