Die HPerformance 4 Zoll 101,6mm Downpipe kommt direkt aus der Entwicklung unseres 1/4 Meile Fahrzeuges in die Serienreife. Sie ist weltweit die erste Downpipe, die durchgängig in diesem Rohrdurchmesser gebaut ist. Sie beginnt am Turboaderausgang und ersetzt damit den serienmäßigen Vorkatalysator. Unsere TÜV Downpipe kommt mit 2 x 400 Zellen Katalysatoren, die weit über den TÜV-geprüften Bereich (600PS) eingesetzt werden können und verwendet zusätzlich OPF Filter. Diese Variante verbauen wir auch in der zugelassenen Leistungsstufen mit 707PS in allen OPF Modellen.
The downpipe goes in exchange for the standard downpipe. Especially with the OPF models, there is a clearly noticeable difference between 3.5 inch / 88.9mm and 4 inch / 101.6mm in exhaust back pressure and temperature recordings. On average, the exhaust backpressure of the 4-inch OPF downpipe is another 119 millibars (mbar) below the level of a 3.5-inch variant. The exhaust gas temperature under continuous load with the 4-inch variant is on average 15 °C below the 3.5-inch variant.
These advantages are now also available for the road, as the downpipe has been made ready for series production.
Any change to catalytic converters (replacement, change of cells or size - different from the original state) requires a software adaptation of the engine control unit. With our remote flash solution, we also offer suitable tuning for the DNW 2.5 TFSI.
Wichtig: Unsere sog. TÜV-Katalysatoren / TÜV Downpipe wird ohne TÜV-Dokumentation geliefert. Sie erfüllt in Kombination mit unserer Leistungssoftware die Voraussetzungen für eine TÜV-Eintragung und kann bei uns im Haus, oder bei einem unserer Stützpunkthändler eingetragen werden. Ohne dieser Eintragung/unsere Software ist die Downpipe nicht legal im Straßenverkehr fahrbar.
