Product Description:
The HPerformance 4-inch (101.6 mm) downpipe comes directly from the development of our quarter-mile vehicle and is now ready for series production. It is the world’s first downpipe built entirely with this pipe diameter. It starts at the turbo outlet and thus replaces the stock pre-catalytic converter. Our TÜV-approved downpipe comes with two 400-cell catalysts that can be used well beyond the TÜV-certified range (600 hp) and also incorporates OPF filters. We also install this variant in the approved performance levels with 707 hp across all OPF models.
The downpipe goes in exchange for the standard downpipe. Especially with the OPF models, there is a clearly noticeable difference between 3.5 inch / 88.9mm and 4 inch / 101.6mm in exhaust back pressure and temperature recordings. On average, the exhaust backpressure of the 4-inch OPF downpipe is another 119 millibars (mbar) below the level of a 3.5-inch variant. The exhaust gas temperature under continuous load with the 4-inch variant is on average 15 °C below the 3.5-inch variant.
These advantages are now also available for the road, as the downpipe has been made ready for series production.
Any change to catalytic converters (replacement, change of cells or size - different from the original state) requires a software adaptation of the engine control unit. With our remote flash solution, we also offer suitable tuning for the DNW 2.5 TFSI.
Important: Our so-called TÜV catalysts / TÜV downpipes are delivered without TÜV documentation. When used in combination with our performance software, they meet the requirements for TÜV registration and can be registered at our facility or at one of our authorized dealers. Without this registration and our software, the downpipe is not legally permitted for use on public roads.

Discoloration occurs on the silencers, pipe and tailpipe of all exhaust system components during operation. These are material-related changes that are not covered by the warranty/guarantee of the item and have no negative effect on the use or technical properties of the item.
