After a long CAD development based on 3D scans of the OEM subframe, tests with CAD FEA (finite element method) and road tests, you can now buy a brand new subframe for the front of your Audi TT / TTS / TT-RS.
Our subframes use the same T45 tubes as those in WRC vehicles, offering increased rigidity and weight reduction. All original parts are bolted to this unit, no further modifications are required.
Product advantages:
- Weighs only 6kg (13 lbs), which is 3.3kg (7.3 lbs) less than the OEM subframe. The OEM subframe weighs 9.3kg.
- Second, higher wishbone brackets to correct the suspension kinematics for our tubular wishbones.
- A single subframe mounting position prevents the subframe from slipping under the vehicle. No subframe locking kit/deadset collar kit required (weight saving).
- Increased chassis rigidity for improved handling. No additional lower link/carrier strut required (weight saving).
- Better access to the underbody and wishbone replacement without removing the subframe
- Polyurethane bone mount significantly reduces the forward and backward pitching of the engine, which is important for sporty riding. No additional bone insert or retrofit bracket required.

T45 is a unique seamless carbon-based steel tube that is used in many different industries. It is stronger than the Co-Mo 4130 tube also used in motorsport. It is often used in the aerospace industry for equipment such as pilot and crew seats as it can withstand high G-forces without breaking or splintering. The material is carbon-manganese based and meets the full aerospace specifications of British Standards.

- 0.2 % yield strength: at least 620 MPa
- Hardness test: 201 min - 262 max. HB or 210 min - 275 max. HV

Not compatible with vehicles with subframe part number: 8J1423055B
Note: Only available for off-road, racetrack and racing applications. Fitting this product will result in additional noise, vibration and roughness being transmitted to the interior. We strongly recommend having the subframe fitted in a qualified and experienced workshop.
The standard wishbones should be mounted on the lower bracket. The higher bracket can only be used with our special tubular wishbones.
A newer Gen3 steering rack must be used. See illustration below. The old steering rack was installed in some vehicles before 2008.

Discoloration occurs on the silencers, pipe and tailpipe of all exhaust system components during operation. These are material-related changes that are not covered by the warranty/guarantee of the item and have no negative effect on the use or technical properties of the item.
