Die 4000 Series Bremsscheiben sind eine direkte Ersatz-Einzelscheibenbremsrotor, die für Fahrer entwickelt wurden, die eine verbesserte Bremsleistung suchen, die über die Standard-OE-Niveaus hinausgeht.
Die 4000 Series HD verfügt über eine glatte OE-Stil-Rotoroberfläche, die bei Fahrern beliebt ist, die die Vorteile eines 4000 Series Rotors wünschen, jedoch ein OE-Design wünschen, wie es in kontrollierten Rennabteilungen benötigt wird.
Diese Rotoren sind aus hochlegiertem Gusseisen hergestellt und durchlaufen das sogenannte Thermal Stability Profiling, was bedeutet, dass die Metallurgie von DBA mit der erhöhten Belastung und der Hitze umgehen kann, die unter intensiver Bremsanwendung immer wieder entsteht.
Durch die Verwendung der DBA-Kangaroo-Paw-Belüftung, die eine Serie von 144 diamant- und tränenförmig gemusterten Säulen implementiert, erzielt DBA eine um bis zu 30% größere Oberfläche und eine um 20% verbesserte Kühlleistung im Vergleich zu einem herkömmlichen, geraden Schaufelrad-Design.
