Product description:
Die EG/ECE-Downpipe 4" (101,6 mm) von HPerformance wurde speziell für den 2.5 TFSI DAZA-Motor im Audi RS3 8V Facelift und Audi TT RS 8S entwickelt. Dank ECE-Genehmigung ist sie europaweit eintragungsfrei – ohne Einzelabnahme und ohne Eintragung in die Fahrzeugpapiere. Das Genehmigungsdokument liegt der Lieferung bei.
Herzstück ist ein 160 mm Hochleistungs-Keramikkatalysator mit integrierter thermischer Isolierung, ausgelegt für Leistungen bis zu 750 PS. Ein strömungsoptimierter Eingangstrichter führt die Abgase verlustarm vom Turbolader in den Katalysator, ein speziell abgestimmter Ausgangstrichter leitet sie anschließend in die durchgängig strömungsoptimierte Rohrführung von 160 mm auf 101,6 mm über. Das Ergebnis: reduzierter Abgasgegendruck, ein verbessertes thermisches Verhalten und ein positiver Effekt auf Effizienz und Ansprechverhalten.
Auch klanglich setzt sich die Downpipe deutlich von der Serie ab: Der Fünfzylinder klingt dumpfer und kerniger, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken.
Die Downpipe wird Plug & Play verbaut – eine Anpassung der Motorsteuerung ist nicht erforderlich. Sie ist als Einzelprodukt ECE-konform verbaubar und ebenso Bestandteil unserer HPerformance-Setups bis 707 PS. Ein verstellbarer Halter sorgt für eine passgenaue Montage.

Nicht geeignet für die Verwendung mit Pops & Bangs- oder Anti-Lag-Software. Hierbei kann es zu Schäden am Katalysator kommen. Solche Schäden sind von der Garantie ausgeschlossen.
