- Recommended from 650NM to prevent damage to the original engine mounts
- Reduction of motor and gearbox tilting movements and reduction of bearing wear
- Mounted in rubber - therefore no vibrations and droning noises (as with polyurethane, for example)
- 2 rubber mounts (upper part and lower part)
- 2 rubber bearing covers (upper and lower part)
- Pendulum support made from milled aluminum
- Underlays for the stabilizer arms
- Screws for fastening
Product description:
As soon as there is a load change in the vehicle, full acceleration, driving on the race track or a launch control start, the engine tilts extremely in the engine compartment. This strong tilting movement must be absorbed by the bearings (engine and gearbox). Over time, these bearings become fatigued, the engine strikes in its tilting movement and not only unpleasant noises are produced, but the bearings are permanently damaged as a result.
The HPerformance rubber torque arm / Dggbone completely replaces the standard torque arm / sway bar. All tilting movements are cushioned by a solid rubber bearing. The vehicle not only feels more agile due to the reduced rolling and tilting movement of the engine, it can also cope with high power and torques on a permanent basis.
In comparison to our competitors, we use a rubber bearing which, unlike polyurethane bearings, is absolutely noise and vibration-free. There are no unpleasant noises either when stationary or when driving. In addition, rubber bearings have a significantly longer life expectancy than polyurethane bearings.
We recommend the reinforcement as standard to prevent heavy wear.
On the TTRS Roadster, the underbody cladding must be machined for installation (a round cut-out must be made). The installation of reinforced engine and gearbox mounts can lead to increased noise in the drivetrain / gearbox. These noises result from the reinforcement itself and do not constitute a defect / warranty reason.
