KW DDC "Plug & Play" Coilover Suspension
The "Plug & Play" solution for vehicles equipped with standard electronic damper adjustment.
KW also offers you the option of combining your sports car’s standard active damper control system with the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension, which is made of stainless steel. This allows you to continue using the existing active damper control in your vehicle—such as the VW Scirocco, VW Golf VI, VW Passat, BMW 3 Series, and other models—in conjunction with stepless lowering.
The best part: Aside from replacing the adaptive stock suspension with the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension, no further installation steps or modifications to the onboard electronics are necessary. Via the KW DDC connector, the adaptive KW dampers are simply connected to your car manufacturer’s original connectors. The stock control unit then takes over the regulation and control of the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension.

As a result, the adaptive KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension is immediately recognized by the vehicle’s onboard electronics. This ensures that all displays and controls in your production vehicle remain fully functional, combining the benefits of an adaptive damping system with the stylish and sporty lowering of a high-quality KW coilover suspension. Thanks to the exclusive use of stainless steel and durable components, the functionality of the rust-free KW coilover suspensions is maintained under all weather conditions. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, adjustment is also possible, for example, after a snowy winter. In a salt spray test, no oxidation occurred on the KW coilover struts. This ensures that the adjustment of the stepless lowering remains unaffected even after years of use.
