Kleiner, Leichter, Schneller – Die Turbolader-Serie von Turbosmart wurde mit modernsten Materialien, Fertigungsmethoden und aerodynamischen Entwicklungen konstruiert, um die hohen Anforderungen im Motorsport und im Performance-Bereich zu erfüllen.
Jeder Turbosmart-Turbolader wird einbaufertig geliefert – inklusive Schweißflanschen, V-Band-Klemmen, Dichtungen sowie Ölzu- und Ölrücklaufanschlüssen.
Die TS-1 Serie ist ölgekühlt und verfügt über ultraleichte Edelstahl-Turbinengehäuse (Investment Cast). Das proprietäre Lager- und Wellenpaket sorgt für ein außergewöhnlich schnelles Ansprechverhalten sowie hohe Haltbarkeit – ganz im Sinne der bekannten Turbosmart-Qualität.
Die extrem geringe rotierende Masse wird durch ein aggressives Verdichterdesign ergänzt, das schon bei niedrigen Drehzahlen hohe Effizienz ermöglicht. Das optimierte Turbinenrad stellt sicher, dass auch bei hoher Last ausreichend Flow und maximale Leistung zur Verfügung stehen.
Das gesamte Turboladerdesign folgt einem Engine-End-to-End-Ansatz, der maximale Leistung durch reduzierten Abgasgegendruck bei gleichzeitig kompakterem und leichterem Aufbau ermöglicht – schneller im Ansprechverhalten als vergleichbare Turbolader am Markt.
