Mit dem Turbokit von HPerformance wird aus Ihrem Unimog 406 ein echter Turbomog. Das Kit ist an unserem eigenen U406 entstanden und dort erprobt – aus dem Projektfahrzeug, das in der Community viel Nachfrage geweckt hat, ist ein produktionsreifes Umbaukit geworden.
Der OM352 im Unimog 406 ist ein unverwüstlicher Klassiker, serienmäßig aber eher auf Drehmoment und Haltbarkeit als auf Leistung ausgelegt. Das Turbokit bringt deutlich mehr Durchzug, besseres Ansprechverhalten und spürbar mehr Leistung, ohne den Charakter des Unimogs zu verändern. Die Kabine muss dafür nicht angehoben werden, große strukturelle Eingriffe sind nicht nötig.
Krümmer, Abgasgehäuse und Hosenrohr sind thermointegral isoliert, der HPerformance Aluminium-Ventildeckel mit integriertem Kühlwasserausgleichsbehälter rundet den Umbau optisch und technisch ab. Am Projektfahrzeug wurden ca. 160+ PS am Zapfwellenprüfstand gemessen.

Important note:
Eine TÜV-Eintragung ist nur möglich, wenn die Einspritzpumpe bei uns eingestellt wird. Das gilt auch beim Selbsteinbau: Bringen Sie Ihren Unimog nach dem Umbau zu uns nach Osterburken – wir stellen die Einspritzpumpe ein und prüfen den Einbau, anschließend kann die TÜV-Eintragung erfolgen. Beim Selbsteinbau ohne Pumpeneinstellung oder beim Einbau ohne Pumpenanpassung ist keine TÜV-Eintragung möglich.
Für ein optimales Ergebnis und eine lange Haltbarkeit empfehlen wir die Anpassung der Einspritzpumpe sowie eine fachgerechte Montage. Eine Leistungssteigerung verändert die Belastung von Antriebsstrang, Getriebe und Differenzialen. Bei intensiver Nutzung (z. B. schwere Anhänger, Bodenbearbeitung) sollte der Verschleiß beobachtet werden.
