Product description:
The HPerformance 4 inch - 101.6mm exhaust system is not only designed to achieve an unprecedented sound on the 2.5 TFSI, but also to reproduce every technically possible performance from the point of view of exhaust back pressure. This system can easily cope with any feasible power output, even well over 1000 hp, without hissing as a result of possible exhaust pressure blockage. There is a balance between exhaust back pressure and actual possible power. Above a certain output (from 650 hp with the original exhaust system), the exhaust back pressure increases and the efficiency or power output decreases in equal measure - but not with our 101.6 mm exhaust system.
Our 4 inch - 101.6mm exhaust system produces a sound that is very different from that of an 88.9mm - 3.5 inch exhaust system. The sound is fundamentally much duller and more powerful - and thanks to our specially developed center silencer, it is simply fun to enjoy every operating condition. That's what you hear:
1. close the flap: The system does not drone at all, it is at the same volume level as an original exhaust system, without even a hint of droning.
2nd flap open: The sound suddenly becomes deep, muffled, unimaginably voluminous, an unknown sound pattern emerges on the TTRS / RS3 / RSQ3 / VZ. Under full throttle, the vehicles sound like their 5-cylinder rally and IMSA GTP ancestors, beastly and simply good!
If the exhaust system is to be supplied with ECE approval, our ECE flap module and the "Street" version must be ordered, as the exhaust system is otherwise not legal. When ordering, please note that ECE documents and type plates will only be supplied or welded on in this case.

With all exhaust system components, discoloration occurs on the silencers, pipe and tailpipe during operation. These are material-related changes that are not covered by the warranty/guarantee of the item and have no negative effect on the use or technical properties of the item.
