After a long CAD development based on a 3D scan of the OEM subframe, tests with CAD FEA (Finite Element Method) and road tests, you can now buy a branded subframe for the front of your Audi/VW/SEAT/Skoda vehicle based on the MQB platform. List of compatible vehicles below.

Our subframes use the same T45 tubes as in WRC cars, offering increased rigidity and weight reduction. All factory parts are bolted to this unit, no further modifications are required.


Product advantages:
  • Weighs only 6.5 kg (13 lbs), that's 3.5 kg (8.8 lbs) savings over an OEM aluminum subframe or 6 kg over an OEM steel subframe. That's a 50% saving compared to the steel version!
  • Second, higher wishbone brackets to correct the suspension kinematics for use with our tubular wishbones.
  • No need to use an OEM steel rear subframe support. Additional saving of 0.5 kg.
  • A subframe mounting position prevents the subframe from slipping under the vehicle. No subframe locking kit/deadset collar kit required (weight saving).
  • Increased chassis rigidity for improved handling. No additional lower link/carrier required (weight saving).
  • Polyurethane dogbone mount: Significantly reduces the forward and backward pitching of the engine, which is important for sporty riding. No additional dogbone insert or aftermarket bracket required.


Features:

  • Better access to the underbody and enables wishbone replacement without removing the subframe.
  • T45 pipes (BS4T45 to BS4T100) from Great Britain and S355 sheet metal.
  • All components TIG-welded.
  • Supplied painted black (powder-coated) or on special order (50 euros) in any RAL color.
  • Can be used with OEM control arms or our tubular control arms.
  • Mounted on the OEM body, no further modifications are required to mount the subframe.
  • Contains two xenon headlight brackets.
  • Can be used with OEM underbody.
  • Can be used with OEM or aftermarket dogbone supports (arms).

The subframe is suitable for both left-hand and right-hand drive vehicles.

T45 is a unique seamless carbon-based steel tube that is used in many different industries. It is stronger than Co-Mo 4130 tubing, which is also used in motorsport. It is commonly used in aerospace for equipment such as pilot and crew seats as it can withstand high G-forces without breaking or splintering. This material is carbon-manganese based and meets the full aerospace specifications of British Standards.

  • 0.2 % yield strength: at least 620 MPa                                                                     
  • Hardness test: 201 min.-262 max. HB or 210 min.-275 max. HV.

Note: Only available for off-road, racetrack and racing applications. Installation of this product will result in additional transmission of noise, vibration and roughness into the cab. We strongly recommend that the subframe be installed by a professional lifting workshop or mechanic.

Note: If you are using standard OEM metal wishbones and your vehicle is significantly lowered, it may be necessary to cut off approximately 2 mm of the wishbones over a length of 10 mm. With OEM aluminum control arms or when using Verkline front control arms, cutting is not necessary.

Note: The subframe does not work with the Whiteline and SuperPro front lower control arms. They are wider than the OEM arms and cannot be used with our subframe.

Discoloration occurs on the silencers, pipe and tailpipe of all exhaust system components during operation. These are material-related changes that are not covered by the warranty/guarantee of the item and have no negative effect on the use or technical properties of the item.
