Product description:

The HPerformance TC870XT - 600HP steelblock turbokit is the entry level to the 870XT kits for the steelblocks, that end up in 700HP. The kit is specificly designed for the CEP TTRS 8J and RS3 8P that have very limited space in the engine bay available. Due to that the wastegateholder and the intake pipe are custom designed to fit these requirements. The new turboinlet is in 3,5" / 90mm diameter, the actuator is set up to 2 bar / 30PSI. The supplyed components allow to modify a stock virgin TTRS MK1 or RS3 MK1^toa reliable and reproduceable power level of 600HP. The power ratings are defensive and can be achieved with 102 ron or even 100 ron fueling. 98 ron requires additional WMI or lower boost, which ends up at 560-570HP.

Waht are the benefits of this kit compared to a fullframe setup?
The 870XT hybrid-turbokits offer the full reliability of our journal bearing TC870XT hybrid turbo. The bearing can resist any temperature and load condition which is way beyond any ball bearing setup. Besides the reliability the daily driveability is another big advantage over a fullframe setup. The 870XT spools close to a stock turbo and the throttle-response is also close to stock. The hybrid turbo combines all the advantages of high power output with as maximum as possible stock turbo frame advantages. Due to the wastegate-actuator this TC870XT setup can be controlled with the stock ecu and does not require any additional boost controller.

Can I send a used DAZ DNW turbo for rebuilding?
No. The 870XT is compromiseless built on brand new virgin original turbos to guarantee best possible results without any cracks in exhaust housing or twisted flanges etc. You can send you old K16 (450.-€) or old DAZ or DNW turbo (850.-€) in to reduce the price, but you will recieve a brand new unit.
Is the TC870XT 600HP kit street legal?

Yes, the 600PS TC870XT basic kit can be legally registered and driven on all 2.5 TFSI platforms, as long as  the software comes from our company and the modifications to the vehicle that have already been purchased are approved. The kit can not be approved with exhausts, intakes or catalysators from any other brand than Hperformance.
