Product information
HPerformance CEPA TTRS 8J MK1 RS3 8P MK1 - TC870XT 650HP turbokit
Product description:

The 650hp turbo kit for the steel engine generation CEP TTRS 8J and RS3 8P is an extension of the 600hp basic kit. In contrast to the 600hp version, this kit is no longer driven on the standard engine, but on one reinforced by an engine pack. HPerformance connecting rods, JE Pistons, valve springs and other small parts make the engine ready for significantly more power. In practice, the 50PS and approx. 50NM are extremely noticeable. The torque in particular, which can now be increased across the entire band (more boost pressure), makes the vehicles significantly faster. Even at low engine speeds, significantly more power can now be generated thanks to the increase in boost pressure, which makes the vehicles very lively. This is not possible without a built-in engine pack. The performance specifications are designed to be defensive and can be reproduced in a reproducible manner. The kit or the kit can be installed in our workshop in Osterburken or sent as a kit.

Model: RS3 8P (2011-2012), TTRS 8J (2009-2014)
Waht are the benefits of this kit compared to a fullframe setup?
The 870XT hybrid-turbokits offer the full reliability of our journal bearing TC870XT hybrid turbo. The bearing can resist any temperature and load condition which is way beyond any ball bearing setup. Besides the reliability the daily driveability is another big advantage over a fullframe setup. The 870XT spools close to a stock turbo and the throttle-response is also close to stock. The hybrid turbo combines all the advantages of high power output with as maximum as possible stock turbo frame advantages. Due to the wastegate-actuator this TC870XT setup can be controlled with the stock ecu and does not require any additional boost controller.

Can I send a used DAZ DNW turbo for rebuilding?
No. The 870XT is compromiseless built on brand new virgin original turbos to guarantee best possible results without any cracks in exhaust housing or twisted flanges etc. You can send you old K16 (450.-€) or old DAZ or DNW turbo (850.-€) in to reduce the price, but you will recieve a brand new unit.
What is the difference between the 600HP and the 650HP version?

The difference between these stages is the Engine Pack. By utilizing this, the engine is able to handle more HP and NM of torque. As a difference, even in the lower rpm range the cars can now boost harder and get more agressive in these rpm band. A stock engine cannot handle this. The gain of 50NM and 50HP ist extremely noticeable on the street, as the more boost that can be applied is available in any rpm level.
