Product description:
This package contains the RACE SERIES intercooler, the 5 inch 125mm open intake system and the 3,14 inch 80mm charge pipe and billet throttle body elbow. The intake system improves the flow on the cold side of the turbo (intake side) and the intercooler does a significant drop in charge air temperature. On the 3,14 inch 80mm outlet side of the intercooler, the charge pipe and throttle body continue this huge diameter up to the inlet manifold. Vehicles, that run more than 2 bar / 29 psi over time doe benefit significant by the pressure drop improvement due to the big size of the outlet and charge pipe of the intercooler. Also, the stock electrical blow off is not designed for these boost / power levels. This is why we add a mechanical TIAL / TURBOSMART blow off valve that also generates a pleasant blow off sound when releasing the gas pedal.
The kit does not only means a significant improvement in the intake air temperature, but also the improved fresh air supply through the intake in conjunction with the associated turbo inlet. The intercooler's cooling performance is dimensioned so that it can cool every conceivable performance on the 2.5 TFSI up to 1100HP without hesitation or constantly. The intake is also designed for outputs of up to 1000HP.
